This isn't just about the cake - it's about the moment behind it. Every month, we'll pick a winner at random from all valid entries. And each week, we'll also give away a free topper to our favourite #CakeshopStory, just because we loved it.
Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
Open to UK residents only, aged 18 or over
Entrants must have purchased their topper directly from cakeshop.com (orders from third-party marketplaces, including Amazon, are not eligible to win, though we'd still love to see your bakes!)
One valid order number may only be used once across the competition
How to enter
Entries must be posted publicly on Instagram (private accounts cannot be verified and will not be counted)
Entries must include the hashtag #CakeshopStory, tag @cakeshopdotcom, and feature a Cakeshop topper
Entrants must comment the last 5 digits of their cakeshop.com order number on their entry post
There is no limit to how many times you can enter, provided each entry uses a different order number
Tagging friends in the comments of your entry earns bonus entries into that month's draw, up to a maximum of 10 per post
The draw
Winners are selected at random from all valid entries received during the relevant entry period
The first draw will take place on 31st July 2026, covering all valid entries received up to that date. Draws will then take place monthly thereafter
The draw will be conducted using a random number generator, with a record kept for verification purposes
Winners will be notified via Instagram direct message within 7 days of the draw
If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being notified, they may forfeit their prize and an alternative winner may be selected
If the same entrant is selected as winner in consecutive draws, Cakeshop reserves the right to redraw
The prize
The prize for the first draw is a Kenwood Kitchen Mixer worth £200
Prizes for subsequent months may vary and will be confirmed at the time
The prize will be posted to the winner's UK address
No cash alternative is offered unless stated otherwise
Weekly topper giveaway
Each week, Cakeshop may select one #CakeshopStory entry to receive a free topper as a thank you for sharing
This is separate from the monthly prize draw and does not affect entry into it
Selection is at Cakeshop's discretion and is intended to celebrate entries we've particularly enjoyed

By entering, you grant Cakeshop permission to repost, share, and feature your content (with credit) across our social media channels and marketing
