Image quality for the best possible print
To get the best possible print, you need the best possible image.
A few things to keep in mind when choosing your photos:
Accepted: JPG, PNG, HEIC Not accepted: video files, Word documents, PDFs (convert to JPG here first). If an image won't upload, try taking a screenshot of it and uploading that instead.
Size and resolution
Aim for at least 1,000 pixels on the shortest edge
We print at 300 DPI, so use this setting if scanning
Bigger is better: the larger the image, the better the print
Low-res photos are still accepted, but quality may suffer. You'll always see a preview before ordering, and what you see is what gets printed

Colour and detail
Bright, high-contrast photos print far better than dark or dim ones. Brightening, adding contrast and boosting saturation before uploading makes a real difference
Keep detail simple on smaller toppers, especially wafer. A group photo on a small topper is like a family photo on a stamp: nobody's recognisable. Group shots work best on sponge toppers, where there's more space, or zoomed in for cupcakes
Top tip: Going for a really high-quality finish? Icing toppers print noticeably sharper than wafer.
